PT house | 2024
Irkutsk | under construction
This house embodies a dialogue between architecture and nature. Its flexible form follows the topography of the site, and the overhanging volumes create dramatic shadows that change throughout the day. The use of natural materials—brick, wood, and concrete—emphasizes the building's connection to the landscape, transforming it into a natural extension of the surrounding environment.
The main focus of the façade is the decorative brickwork, which creates a rhythm of light and shadow. In sunlight, the texture of the wall comes alive, revealing the depth and complexity of the surface. This technique is not only decorative but also architecturally meaningful: it adds dynamism and visual lightness to the volume, making the heavy material seem almost ethereal.
The interior and exterior spaces flow into each other through panoramic windows and terraces, blurring the boundaries between the house and nature. Here, every shadow, every reflection on the brick surface becomes part of the architectural composition—a living element emphasizing the idea of the harmony of light, form, and matter.
